Master of Philosophy in Ancient Philosophy and Ancient Sciences
In addition to specializing in the history of ancient philosophy, this course provides an introduction to the various sciences that make up the " sciences of antiquity ": history, literature and civilization of the ancient worlds, as well as in-depth mastery of at least one ancient language, essential in this field for doctoral studies.
This course is "coordinated", i.e. common to several fields: three fields within the ARSH UFR (Philosophy, History and History of Art) and the Humanities field of the LLASIC UFR (Language, Literature, Performing Arts, Information and Communication, Journalism).
An internship in the 2nd year prepares students for professional integration and/or provides them with a field of application for their doctoral studies.
Preparation for the secondary school competitive examination in philosophy is offered as an option during the course.
It is advisableto consult the current year'sstudy booklet, which gives an idea of the training seminars on offer and the organization of the study cycle.
