Master's degree in art history, "Museums, exhibitions and heritage" course
This course provides both theoretical and practical tools:
Seminars are designed to help students acquire and deepen their general knowledge of art history, and to familiarize them with the history and current status of museums, collections and exhibitions, encouraging critical reflection on heritage issues and contemporary exhibition practices.
Projects and practical workshops enable the practical application of this theoretical knowledge, providing an introduction to the different professional practices of the cultural professions.
Regular meetings with guest lecturers familiarize students with local cultural institutions and facilitate the creation of a professional network with a view to an internship or other professional opportunity during and after Master's studies.
A compulsory internship (minimum 3 months) and the active participation of students in cultural events complete the curriculum.
Students are supervised by the department's teacher-researchers.
Under their guidance, students write a thesis linked to a professional project.
For the Museums, exhibitions, heritageThis is an applied research dissertation on heritage issues, the history or current affairs of museums and collections, an internship experience, etc., to be defended at the end of the third semester.
