The "Sciences of Man, Politics and Territory" doctoral school

The UFR Arts et Sciences Humaines is attached to doctoral school no. 454 "Sciences de l'Homme, du Politique et du Territoire" (ED SHPT).
It is one of the twelve Doctoral Schools on the Grenoble site, and a component of theUniversité Grenoble Alpes Doctoral College.
It brings together 350 doctoral students from 11 Research Units (including LUHCIE and LARHRA), and offers eight disciplines: doctorates in Sociology, Industrial Sociology, Education Sciences, Social and Experimental Psychology, Clinical and Pathological Psychology, History, Political Science, Urban Planning, Geography and Architecture.

Philosophy: history, representation, creation" doctoral school

The Doctoral School of Philosophy "History, Representation, Creation" - ED n° 487 PHCR - is a monodisciplinary school. It is located on three operating sites: Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, which is the lead institution, and 2 associated institutions, Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS) and Université Grenoble-Alpes (UGA).
Ecole doctorale 487, created in 2007, welcomes all doctoral students in philosophy from the Rhône-Alpes region, who develop their research in the various themes of the discipline: history of philosophy, contemporary philosophy, logic and philosophy of science, ethics, aesthetics, political philosophy, history and epistemology of cognitive science.
