Preparing for L3 competitive examinations - CAPES History - Geography and Music Education and Choral Singing

Starting with the 2025–2026 school year, the CAPES exam for secondary school teachers will be administered at the end ofthe third year of a bachelor’s degree program, granting access to the master’s degree that completes the full teacher training program.

In parallel with the preparatory course for the competitive entrance examination offered during the bachelor's degree course, the History and Musicology departments of the Arts and Human Sciences UFR offer students who already hold a bachelor's degree in one of the disciplines concerned, or in one closely related to these disciplines, a one-year preparatory course for the competitive entrance examination:

  • CAPES History-geography
  • CAPES Music education and choral singing

These courses offer both subject-specific preparation modules and specific preparation modules for the competitive examination.
