Preparation for the Methodology of Philosophy Competitions

The course aims to provide practical mastery of the academic philosophical exercises that form the basis of teaching certification exams (essays, text analysis, and lesson plans).
It focuses on the methodological aspects of these exercises and offers regular, guided practice, enabling students to revisit their philosophical knowledge with an eye toward the exams and to organize their independent study.

Course Structure

Semester 1

  • A 24-hour module focused on practice with written assignments (essays, text analysis).

Semester 2

  • A 24-hour module focused on practice for written and oral exams.
  • Specific one-on-one oral practice sessions (tutorials)

In each session, students are presented with a different topic and are asked to present their work and develop their critical thinking skills.
The focus is on problem-solving, critical thinking, language proficiency, and the use of philosophical references.
With a view to realistic training, Time-limited exercises are held on a regular basis.
