You can apply for reorientation between October 15 and December 3, 2026.
Please note: reorientation is not automatic. It is subject to the approval of the host program's admissions committee, and to a set timetable.
The coursework from the^first semester of your new major or bachelor’s degree track will be evaluated during the make-up exams in June 2027.

Dates to remember:

• Thursday, October 15, 2026: Start date of the reorientation campaign
• Friday, November 27, 2026(5:00 p.m.): Deadline for submitting a program change application 
• Thursday, December 3, 2026 (5:00 p.m.): Deadline for submitting a change-of-major application through the system (Please note: No applications will be considered after this date)
• Mid-January 2027: Deadline for administrative registration in the new program 

Documents to prepare for your application :

• Cover letter
• Baccalauréat transcript and final year report cards (in a single .pdf file)
• Certificate of school attendance (non-UGA students)
• Additional documents: academic transcripts, CV, letter from a teacher, etc. (5 documents maximum)

Case 1: internal reorientation at UFR ARSH

If you are enrolled in the 1st year of a bachelor's degree at ARSH and would like to change to another bachelor's degree offered by ARSH, here are the 2 steps not to be missed. 

1. Submit your request for a change of major (online application form, available on October 15, 2026): https://enquetes.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/SurveyServer/s/dgdfvu-doip/ORI_Reo_anneeN/questionnaire1.htm), along with the required documents, no later than November 27, 2026.
2. To finalize your application by December 3, 2026: check the box and submit your application so that it is forwarded to the department. You will receive an email confirming that your finalized application has been submitted.
3. Your application will be examined by the reorientation committee. If your request for reorientation is accepted by the pedagogical committee, you will receive a confirmation e-mail enabling you to register for your new course.

Case n°2: reorientation towards a ^1st year degree outside UFR ARSH or student already enrolled in a ^1st year degree (at UGA or another university) wishing to enter a ^1st year degree at UFR ARSH

Here's how to apply: 

1. Submit your change-of-major application online (online change-of-major application form,available on October 15, 2026): https://enquetes.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/SurveyServer/s/dgdfvu-doip/ORI_Reo_anneeN/questionnaire1.htm), along with the required supporting documents, no later than November 28, 2026.
2. Please come to the Career Services Office for a mandatory interview with a career counselor before December 3, 2026. Before your interview with the counselor, please prepare your application online, including your resume, your cover letter (or at least a draft of it), and the documents requested in the application. Please note: The Career Services Office closes at 5:00 p.m.; please do not wait until the last minute to come in.
3. To finalize your application by December 3, 2026: check the box and submit your application so that it is forwarded to the department. You will receive an email confirming that your finalized application has been submitted.
4. If your request for reorientation is accepted by the pedagogical committee, you will receive a confirmation e-mail enabling you to register for your new course.

Consultations are held on a walk-in basis Monday through Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
If you live far from Grenoble or Valence and are not a UGA student: you can request a remote appointment by e-mail, specifying that you have submitted a reorientation application to the following address:  orientation-insertion@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr.
