2010. A young rescue worker discovers an old document in the rubble of the earthquake that has just devastated Port-au-Prince... It is the original Act of Independence of the Haitian Republic: in 1804, the inhabitants of the former French colony evoke the betrayals of the French revolutionaries. Condorcet, Robespierre, traitors? Surprised, the young woman decides to investigate. Accidentally propelled into the past, guided by the ghosts of Charlotte Corday and Jean-Paul Marat, who never stop bickering, the young woman goes from one surprise to another through the ten years that marked the Revolution.
Ten years, between 1789 and 1799, that turned the world upside down. And left a legacy that, even after two centuries, still makes our heads spin!
