There are different types of funding available to study abroad as part of an exchange program.

Scholarships managed by the Université Grenoble Alpes

The scholarships listed below are intended for students who have been selected to participate in an exchange program. They are managed by the "Bourses" department of the Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) International and Territorial Development Division.

Mobility grants are paid out after the start of the stay, and do not cover all mobility-related expenses. It is therefore important to budget for mobility in advance.

• Regional grant for international student mobility (BRMIE) from the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region.
• Erasmus+ study grant (SMS) awarded as part of the European Union's Erasmus+ program.
• International Mobility Assistance (AMI) from the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.

Some of the above-mentioned scholarship schemes offer additional mobility grants for students with disabilities.
